Nikki Kano, is a singer-songwriter and recording artist.   

Born in Oakland, California by Greek parents, Nikki was raised in Athens Greece.   

Nikki’s journey as a songwriter started early in life, at the age of 14. Many of her songs, as well as translations of English worship songs, are sung in Christian congregations in Greece.   

 

In 2007 she received a diploma in Vocal Jazz performance at Philippos Nakas Conservatory, Athens Greece and a diploma in Theology, at the Greek Bible College.   

Upon graduating, Nikki moved to New York City, where she continued studying Jazz Performance and Theater at The City College of New York.  In 2010, she received her Bachelors of Science in Biblical Studies at Liberty University.  

Since then Nikki has performed Jazz, as well as Gospel music, in several venues in Athens, and in New York City and it's surrounding areas.

In 2012, God sent her husband and music producer John Kano, her way.   In collaboration with her husband she had two dance records, “Run and Hide” (2017 ) and “Save me” (2019,) released  by Taste the Jam Records, along with “The Greatest Gift of all” Christmas song and the recently released “The beauty of your love” (2023), by Rhema Music. 

 

Nikki's personal Christian album is currently on the making. The first 3 songs have been released as singles,  by Rhema Music, and are available in all musical platforms. Her first Christian single debut was “I will not be afraid”. 

 

John, Nikki and their son Johnny live in Northern Jersey where they lead a local church and make music together.
